Maybe too fancy for my ability, but it's a very nice nice jacket. I do worry if the layers get worn off overtime by falling too often on the snow, but we shall see.

I got it just before temperatures plunged to the single digits, and nothing, not even my full-length Spanish curly lamb coat, is warmer. Nice zippers, great pockets, convenient hood with terrific coverage. Get it if you're lucky enough to find one still in stock.

It is meticulously built with tremendous detail at every zipper, seam and pocket. It's also really beautiful. I am a 145lb pear shaped slightly narrow shouldered 5'4" woman and the Medium fit well- would accommodate wider shoulders for sure and another jacket for warmth underneath. it is not insulated to speak of so if it were cold out, you would need another layer. But you would for sure be dry!!!
