This toy is absolutely amazing!! My daughter loves race cars so when I saw this I knew she was going to love it. Little did I know we both were going to have a great time with it. I love there is no set up or stickers to put on. You take it out the box attach the yellow car to the black one and watch them race. I also love the fact it does the racing and flopping with out batteries. Best feeling ever incase you don't have any on hand. You don't want to explain to a 3 1/2 year old sorry about not having batteries. She had hours of fun with the flipping on the car. Even her younger sister who is 1 thought they were so cool. The cars also have a good amount of weight to them making them very  sturdy. I think it would be really hard for a kid to break them. I also love they can race separate and not have to be attached. So if you have multiple kids like i do they each get one win win for mom!! Overall if you kid is into cars that race and have cool flipping action this is an excellent toy with loads of hours of fun!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My kids enjoy playing with the cars. They both like the yellow one, I think it's because the color is brighter. Took us some time to figure out how to detach the arm connecting the cars, but once we read the instructions carefully it was pretty straight forward. The only thing that could be a problem is that the arm can be broken easily. Hasn't happend yet, so not an issue now :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Cute cars, runs great

I was sent this cars toy for my 3 year old son and he absolutely enjoys it. He was very excited to open the toy and play it. He was very excited to see how the toy worked and once the car flipped over the other he just wanted to play with it even more. The toy has very great colors and it made very well. Amazing and fun toy

This is a great toy, even though they have no control over who is going to win.. they get so excited....  Jacksen always picks Jackson, and Kendal picks Cruz.... they pull it back and jump up and down and cheer on their car... great toy... great fun...  Highly recommend.  Faces light up like crazy...... My boys were so excited when they saw these come out of the box.  I gave them each one and they played together for hours with them ! They love watching the cars flip like in the movie ,  and they love how they can just pull back a little on the car , let go , and the car shoots forward. Cool cars for the kids

Fun race cars that my son enjoyed right out of the box. He really liked that one car would flip over the other car and continue in the race. I would say it was hard for me to connect the cars but he did just turn 3 so I feel like that part may be easier for older kids. The great part was that you could also race the cars independently so he spent a lot of time racing them and playing on the floor with the cars. Overall a great toy for the 3+ kiddos. Flipping Fun!

My son, who is 3 was very excited to receive this toy to play with. It was very easy to remove from the packaging and play right out of the box. We latched the blue car onto the yellow car pulled them back a few times and let them go. The first time they just went straight and the yellow car didn't release and didn't flip. We tried again, because If at first you don't succeed....we tried again. So we tried a few more times until it flipped!! It did finally flip over but it flipped over very very slowly.  

Once it flipped my son got very excited and despite having to try a few times he forgot about how many times we had to do it and thought it was SOOO cool!  If you are 3 - it's awesome!! If you are a parent trying to get the car to flip for your child and can't it can be a little frustrating until you get it's to flip for you.

Slow to flip

My three year old loves all things Lightning Mcqueen. He was very excited upon seeing Jackson Storm and Cruz Ramirez. Unfortunately, these weren't his favorite. When playing with these cars together he had a bit of a problem trying to get them to work correctly to do their flip. Sometimes they wouldn't even flip at all. Also, Jackson's plastic piece that connects the two cars would often get stuck in the open position and was hard to get back to its closed position.  Because of this, he lost interest in them pretty quickly. However, he did like playing with them separately by racing and crashing them into each other. Jackson and Cruz

I received this set of Cars 3 Flip to the Finish Cruz and Jackson cars from Mattel for free in exchange for my son to test them out and for me to write a review. I have to say the cars were very sleek looking and my son was already asking to get them out of the box they came in. He waa so excited to play with them. They were the perfect size for his hands to race around the house. He loved them! But after reading the instructions, I showed him what these cars could do together. I linked them up like the instructions said and moved them back and forth on the floor to get the momentum going, and they didn't really go anywhere. One vehicle worked fine on its own, but the second one wouldn't even move. So we couldn't try out the main purpose of these cars to race linked together and then flip over the other to pass it. That was kind of disappointing for the both of us. Although they didn't do what they were supposed to do, my son still wanted to play with them. He raced the one that worked and had to push the other one that didn't, along the way. It's a bummer we couldn't review this toy for its main component.The good part is that he is happy with his 2 new Cars 3 vehicles. Perfect size for my 3 year olds hands to race around the house. The overall look of the car is sleek and the plastic design seems durable. The only problem I see, is the wheels on the second car, that dont catch any speed. Nice looking Cars

How do I adjust the clip back down? Instructions not that great on the box, grandson loves it but i am afraid of the clip breaking off

I received this product and was pretty excited as my son loves Cars! The product looked really nice too! My son tried it out and it worked amazingly! The cars both revved up easily and drove far and fast. The one car flipped over the other, just as described. However on the first day, the plastic piece (that attached the two cars together so it would flip) already broke! It basically snapped almost all the way through so now the flipping feature cannot be used anymore. Very disappointed that this would break so easily after limited use by a 4-year old :( [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
